How Shannon Comstock Real Estate collects, uses, and protects your information when you use this website or contact me about buying or selling.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how I, Shannon Comstock, operating as Shannon Comstock LLC and doing business as a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Gold, collect and use information from visitors to this website (shannoncomstock.com) and from anyone who contacts me through it. It also covers my client tools: the seller and buyer surveys, the walk-away calculator, the buyer tour page, and the showing feedback page I share with clients and prospects. It applies to these pages only.

Information I collect

When you fill out a form on this site, whether it is the general contact form, a home valuation request, or a lead-magnet download, I collect what you enter: your first and last name, your email address, and, where the form asks for it, your phone number and any message you write. If a form collects your phone number, it also shows consent language explaining that you may receive text messages from me, and I keep a record of that consent along with the date and time you gave it.

My client tools collect what you choose to enter. A seller or buyer survey collects your answers about your home, your plans, and your timing. The walk-away calculator works out your numbers on the page without sending anything; if you ask for the price comparison, it sends me your name, email, and the numbers you entered. The buyer tour page keeps your ratings on your own phone until you tap send, then sends them to me. The showing feedback page sends me your comments about the home; if you are touring with your own agent, it does not ask for or keep your contact information.

I do not collect payment information through this site, and I do not knowingly collect information from children.

How I use your information

I use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, answer your questions about buying or selling, and follow up about your real estate needs. Submissions from this site are stored in my client relationship management system, GoHighLevel, which I use to keep track of leads and clients and to make sure inquiries do not fall through the cracks.

I currently reply directly to inquiries rather than sending automated marketing email campaigns. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to describe it and to explain how you can opt out.

I keep contact and lead information in my system for as long as you remain a contact of mine; I do not currently delete records on a fixed schedule. If you would like your information removed, contact me using the information at the bottom of this page and I will honor that request.

Who receives your information

Your information is processed by a small number of service providers who help me run this site and my business, each acting on my behalf:

  • GoHighLevel, my customer relationship management system, where inquiries and lead information are stored.
  • Vercel, the hosting provider that runs this website and my client tools.
  • Web3Forms, which delivers form submissions from my client tools to my email inbox.

I do not sell your personal information to anyone, and I do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. This site does not currently run advertising or analytics tracking of any kind (no Meta pixel, Google tag, or similar); if that changes, this policy will be updated first to disclose it.

This website is also affiliated with RE/MAX Gold as the brokerage of record. RE/MAX Gold's own website is covered by its brokerage privacy policy.

Your choices

You can ask me at any time what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, by contacting me using the information below. If you have replied "STOP" to a text message from me or asked to be removed from a list, I will honor that.
