Lakeside Lewis Homes
One of the two Reno neighborhoods Shannon knows best (235 homes).
Living in Lakeside Lewis
I raised my sons in Lakeside Lewis. I've since moved to Old Southwest Reno, but this roughly 235-home neighborhood, streets like Torrington, Greenbrook, Stonecreek, Leah, and Wheatland, will always be a little bit home to me. I still drive through these streets, still know what's selling and what's changing, and it's one of the two Reno neighborhoods where I do consistent, dedicated outreach rather than occasional attention.

How Shannon Comstock Serves Lakeside Lewis
I bring the same full process to homes here that I bring everywhere, real pricing strategy and marketing for sellers, the R.E.A.L. process for buyers, built on genuinely knowing this neighborhood rather than a one-time look at the comps. I also run Lakeside Lewis's community events directly: the annual Community Garage Sale and the neighborhood's Holiday Lights Contest, both now three years running.
Lakeside Lewis Community Life
This year's Community Garage Sale brought out 12 participating families across Torrington, Greenbrook, Stonecreek, Leah, and Wheatland, with hundreds of neighbors and shoppers coming through. I put up banner flags at the neighborhood entrance and handed out printed neighborhood maps so nobody missed a table, the same targeted digital marketing approach I use to bring buyers to a listing, just aimed at filling a street with garage sale shoppers instead. December brings the neighborhood's Holiday Lights Contest, "Let It Glow," with custom yard signs marking each entry.
Lakeside Lewis Housing Market & Home Types
Homes in Lakeside Lewis typically run 4 bedrooms, 2,000 to 2,300 square feet. Over a recent six-month stretch, 5 homes sold at a median of $675,000, a median of 13 days on the market, and about $333 a square foot, with 2 active listings at a median list price of $762,450. Four of five recent sales closed in under three weeks; the one that didn't sat for 144 days, which tracks with what I see everywhere right now: a well-prepped, well-priced home moves fast, and a home that still looks lived-in instead of ready for someone new sits while buyers pass it by. These figures move with the market, so I'll confirm current numbers for a specific address.
Neighborhood Tour & Local Lifestyle
Lakeside Lewis sits inside the McCarran loop, close to the trails, the airport, and shopping, a location that's genuinely working in its favor right now: homes inside and around the McCarran loop are moving faster than homes farther out. Bartley Ranch Regional Park and Wheatland Park both back up directly to the neighborhood, and Bartley Ranch alone brings the historic Huffaker Schoolhouse, an outdoor amphitheater, a horse arena and equestrian trails, and picnic pavilions spread across the property. Huffaker Elementary is close by too, with blossoms in spring and some of the best fall color in Reno right in the neighborhood's own backyard. It's the kind of close-knit neighborhood where the same families stay for years, which is exactly why I still care about it years after moving out myself.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do you focus specifically on Lakeside Lewis?
I raised my sons there, and even after moving to Old Southwest Reno I never really left, I still run the neighborhood's Community Garage Sale and Holiday Lights Contest every year. That's a different level of familiarity than an agent who just pulls comps here occasionally.
How many homes are in Lakeside Lewis?
Around 235, across streets including Torrington, Greenbrook, Stonecreek, Leah, and Wheatland. It's a smaller, close-knit community, which shapes both how homes move here and how I market them.
