Neighborhood Tour & Local Lifestyle
Southwest Reno offers easy access to The Summit for shopping, Raley's One and Trader Joe's for everyday errands, and Galena Creek for hiking, with Mt. Rose Ski Resort and Diamond Peak about 30 minutes out, along with Incline Village, Sand Harbor, and Tahoe City on the Lake Tahoe side. It also works well for anyone commuting to Carson City. Two honest tradeoffs worth knowing: the Damonte Ranch area can get congested, and homes directly along Mount Rose Highway deal with more road noise than the rest of the area.
